Fancy a night of luxurious glamping? Well, Singapore’s Changi Airport has just the thing! They can propose some seriously, glamping stylish yurts for overnight stays (and daytime picnics!) right inside their amazing Jewel complex.

Jewel, which opened to a huge buzz in 2019, is the setting for this unique experience. You can actually sleep in either the Shiseido Forest Valley – a five-story indoor garden – or the Cloud9 Piazza on the top floor. And the best part? Both spots offer incredible views of Jewel’s famous Rain Vortex – the world’s tallest indoor waterfall.

By the way, with campsites currently closed in Singapore because of the pandemic in 2020, Changi Airport is saying this glamping experience is even better – no need to worry about the sticky humidity, sudden downpours, or those pesky mosquitoes!

You can choose between a daytime picnic for up to five people or a full overnight stay. The yurts can comfortably fit up to four adults, or two adults and three kids. Inside, you’ll find comfy queen-size beds (one or two, depending on the yurt), toiletries, a fan, blankets, pillows, cushions, even perfume, a portable charger, and a fun welcome basket for overnight guests.

This special experience is available until January 3rd, and there are some awesome extras thrown in too: you get to use the showers at YotelAIR, plus tickets to the Changi Experience Studio (think interactive digital games!), the Manulife Sky Nets (a cool netted playground way up high), and Canopy Park. You also get a cute Jewel mascot toy, shopping discounts, and free parking.

A weekend night in one of these yurts costs S$360, which, let’s be honest, is definitely more «glamp» than «camp.» If you just want a picnic, a three-hour slot is S$200 on weekends or S$150 during the week.
